About licensing

How does licensing work?
It's an annual subscription, activated offline. On first run the dashboard generates a unique Machine ID; send it by email and you'll receive a license key — typically within 24 hours. Enter the key once to activate for 12 months. Updates and support are included for the duration. Renewing simply means pasting a new key.
What happens when my subscription expires?
You get a renewal reminder starting 30 days before expiry. After the expiry date there is a 14-day grace period during which the dashboard keeps working with a renewal banner. After the grace period, monitoring pauses until you enter a renewed key — your saved configuration and history are never deleted.
Is the license per server or per database?
The license is tied to one machine (the one running the dashboard) and the edition defines how many databases you can monitor from it. You don't pay per DBA or per viewer.
Can I change editions later?
Yes. If your fleet grows, you upgrade to a higher edition paying the prorated difference.
